NRA Basic Safety Pistol Certification

The Westchester County Sheriffs Association is happy to provide to residents of Westchester County the NRA Basic Pistol Safety Course* and firearms training. Members of the WCSA are NRA Certified Instructors able to provide the safety and skills training required to obtain a Westchester County Pistol Permit.

An NRA Basic Pistol Safety Course taught by WCSA Deputy Sheriffs provides a higher level of knowledge than many other courses.

*Under NYS law residents of Westchester County may not complete the live fire portion of the course until after they have obtained their permit.
